Candle tubes come in many sizes.
We stock the more common sizing based on popular lampholders.
We state the internal diameter of the candle tube when specifying the dimensions.
For example, a 24mm by 100mm means 24mm internal diameter and 100mm long.
Tubes will either have a lip on the top or will get slightly narrow at the top compared to the bottom, this is to prevent the tube from sliding further down past the lampholder. It will ensure the tube sits flush to the top of the lampholder ensuring the look is of a real candle.
Please see below some common sizes we do.
24mm – These are designed to fit our candle tube lampholders, These come in 3 main lengths:
27mm Tubes – These tubes will fit Plastic SES | E14 | Small Edison Screw Lampholders
37mm Tubes – These will fit most BC | B22 | Bayonet cap Lampholders
40mm Tubes – These will fit Plastic ES | E27 | Edison Screw Lampholders
We offer 2 types, plastic and cardboard, with a drip effect or plain.
The cardboard tubes have been tested to 650°C using a glow wire with no flame. Meaning these are perfectly safe, however we would always recommend an LED lamp as they product next to no heat, ensuring the maximum life span of your new tubes.
There are of course other sizes in between that we sell, but the above are the most common sizing to explain.
If you are looking for a specific candle tube that we do not stock, then please get in touch, and we will see what we can do.
